Here from Elsewhere is a series of four volumes of poetry published by Ambit Books and written by poets living in the United Kingdom but born in other areas of the world. Authors include Serbian poet Sonja Besford's Memories of Summers in Brist Near Gradac and Other Poems (Feb. 2006); Indian poet Satyendra Śrīvāstava's Sir Winston Churchill Knew My Mother (June 2006); Chinese poet Hongbin Liu's A Day Within Days (Aug. 2006); and Kurdish poet Nazand Begikhani's Bells of Speech (Dec. 2006). The bulk of the material covers 2006 and consists of correspondence between authors and Ambit staff, manuscripts, proofs, galleys, publicity materials, and review articles. Includes copies of bound first editions for each Here From Elsewhere author.

Here From Elsewhere is a collection of four poetry volumes published in 2006 by Ambit Books with the support of the Arts Council England. It was produced and published under Martin Bax, editor and founder of the Ambit poetry journal in 2006. The Ambit poetry journal was founded in London in 1959 by Bax as a quarterly of poetry, short fiction, original drawings and photographs, and criticism primarily by young writers and artists.
